Where do we meet?
Wetherby is a market town, on the River Wharfe, to the North East of Leeds in West Yorkshire but close to the North Yorkshire boundary. The town is almost equidistant from Leeds, Harrogate and York and lies on the A1 with excellent links by road. The nearest railway stations are at Harrogate and Knaresborough.
We meet at 19:30 each Tuesday Evening from September 2nd 2008 until April
2009 in St James' Church Rooms, Church Street, in the town and aim to finish by
around 21:30. The club meets in the room at the rear of the Church Rooms - go
through the main entrance and we are in the back right hand corner.
Tea and coffee are provided during the meeting.

Car Parking for meetings and at other times:
The club has received a letter from the Administrator of the Church Rooms. Apparently a Funeral directors Business is starting using the "Old School Kitchen " building which is the one used up to now by the Printers. They have 2 spaces in front of their building in 24 hour use so no parking will be allowed there in future at any time.
In addition they are renting 6 spaces in the main car park adjacent to their building for their exclusive use between 8 a.m. and 6.p.m. Monday to Friday. These spaces will be available to users of the Church Rooms in the evenings and at weekends . Signs will shortly be erected to this effect.
The Caretaker, David Dawson, has ceased his duties. The new caretakers are Bernard and Heather.
