Interclub Competition:
Icelandic Trawlers
All meetings take place on a Saturday Evening and rotate around the clubs which means that each club hosts a meeting approximately every three years. Wetherby and District Camera Club hosted the second round of the competition in November 2007.
For each round, each club competing must submit 5 digital image files (currently still sized as for Club Competitions - 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels high), distributed as follows:
- 1 Image within a set Theme
- 1 Image depicting a set Subject
- 3 General images covering any theme/subject.
The dates, venues, subjects and themes set for each round are displayed in the panel opposite and are also clearly shown on the programme page. As with other competitions, the results of each round will appear in the News Section of this web site.
The images used in each round are also available through the Gallery pages.
The club's committee is anxious to support Brian Gray our Interclub Representative and ensure that we have a more successful outcome than in the last season. For this we need images of high quality covering not only the set subjects and themes but also images of a general nature likely to be successful in the contest.
Please submit all entries for the above competitions to Brian Gray at least 2 weeks in advance of the competition. Images can be submitted for consideration at any time. Members are always welcome at these meetings and directions are available from Brian and/or other committee members.
