Ways of Looking:
A month of photography in Leeds and Bradford; for the month of September, Leeds and Bradford will be the undoubted destinations for photography and new media, with the first edition of Ways of Looking.
Exhibitions, talks, films and events will be happening in museums, historic houses, contemporary galleries, cinemas, stately homes, and even a railway station.
Fourteen organisations have joined forces to present a diverse range of photography and new media work: Axis, Bradford 1 Gallery, Bradford Grid, Brontë Parsonage Museum, The Culture Company, Harewood House, Hyde Park Picture House, Impressions Gallery, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Met Gallery, Lumen, National Media Museum, Pavilion, and PSL [Project Space Leeds].
Highlights include the international premiere of new digital work by Swiss artist Annelies Strba at Bronte Parsonage Museum, original nineteenth century photographs by Roger Fenton at Harewood House, a moving billboard commission at Leeds Railway Station, and the emerging stars of photography at the National Media Museum.

Otley Camera Club and Derry Brabbs
Otley Camera Club has secured one of England's finest published
photographers to launch their 64th year in style.
The club will be hosting Derry Brabb's who will present an entertaining
evening entitled "In Wainwright's Footsteps and other Journeys" at Otley
Courthouse from 7:30pm.

Specsaver's Lecture in the larger room in the Church Centre at the normal time,
19:30.
The club is delighted to welcome as its guest speakers for this important event, Phil and Gwen Charnock, from the famous Wigan 10 Foto Club. Gwen and Phil are photographers of international renown and more information about them can be found on their web site and also on this page from the BBC web site.
The meeting is to be an all ticket event to control numbers within the limit of the room but there will be no charge for these tickets which will be distributed nearer the event.
