Welcome to the January 2017 Wetherby & District Camera Club Newsletter.

 

We hope you enjoyed the Christmas party and are looking forward to the New Year.

 

We have five meetings scheduled in January:

  • 3rd January - Peter Thompson “An AV Evening with Peter Thompson”

 

  • 10th January - Judging Ingram 3 (Pictorial) – Keaton Roebuck.

From the look of the print boxes at the end of the submission night there are a lot of entries

 

  • 17th January - John Gardner, a professional photographer from Wakefield is presenting a lecture entitled "Wildlife photography". He also will be revealing how he obtained his images and the equipment used. See http://www.wildscenes.com/ for an early preview.
  • 25th January - RPS disc (Natural History)

 

  • 31st January - Practical Night Still Life

Don’t forget to bring your camera and possibly a tripod along.

Five members travelled to Paddy’s Hole at Redcar and we had a great day out with a lot of good photo opportunities and a very nice lunch time “breakfast”. If you missed the day out to Redcar you can see some member photos from the day. Martin's Photo's & Nick's Photo's
