Club News - Oct 2017

Welcome to the October 2017 Wetherby & District Camera club newsletter.

We hope you enjoyed the “new style” Open Night, the portrait night and Emma Littlefair’s Pushing Photography to its Limits.

A warm welcome to our new members, Penelope, Allan and Leigh. Please introduce yourselves to them at the next clubnight.

The Annual Exhibition is to be held at the town hall on Saturday 14th October, so please bring mounted prints for the exhibition along to clubnights on the 3rd or 10th. Please come along to the exhibition for a tea / coffee and some cake and if you can help to set up or pull down, let a committee member know. The exhibition runs from 10am until 4pm, we need members there throughout the day to greet visitors and answer questions.

Competition Submissions: Print entries for competitions are to be accompanied by a digital copy on a USB stick.

Future Club Trips

Ian Butterworth has been looking into club days out and a visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park will be held Saturday 7th October. YSP has a host of new displays and is well worth a visit even if you’ve been there before. Other possibilities are being reviewed but we are always open to suggestions.
